Synopsis:
Satoko Ogata (Yuki Amami) is a single woman who are going to turn 40 soon. She is a brilliant psychiatrist who takes pride in her job and is totally satisfied with her life. Her favorite pastime is to stay at a high-class ryokan alone and indulge herself in superb dinner, relaxing onsen and watching classic comedy videos. One day she attends a high school class reunion party, where she realizes that almost all her classmates have been married and have children. She was also shocked to find out that many of her friends secretly pity her, thinking she has already given up on finding a husband or having children.
While she starts to feel being left behind from her friends, a new clinical psychotherapist Keitaro Okamura (Naohito Fujiki) joins her team at the hospital and...

This story focuses the women in their 35 to 40 (Around 40 = Arafo, for short) who have been surrounded with many choices (job, marriage, children) and trying to find their happiness not by social standard but by their own standard.
